Going Bananas Looking for Your Reading Glasses?

Are you going bananas looking for your reading glasses? Are you having difficulty seeing what’s right in front of you? Do you have “perfect” vision otherwise?

I hate to tell you, but this is a natural part of maturation called “presbyopia”. We all eventually lose the ability to see close up as the lens in our eye oxidizes and ages. Yep, I’m going through it myself right now!

There are several solutions to this age-old problem, but most have some downside:

Reading glasses: a hassle to carry around with you, and never there when you need them. How many of you have, or know someone who has cheap reading glasses laying around all over the house?

Progressive glasses: more convenient because you can see both far and near all the time, but some people don’t like wearing glasses all the time (unless you look like a model or rock star in glasses, which some people do!)

Multifocal contact lenses: the ultimate in convenience, but some people don’t take well to wearing contacts.

Diet and exercise for your eyes and homeopathic remedies can reverse, and slow down some of the aging process just the same way that eating healthy and exercising can help you stay healthier and look younger longer. This doesn’t stop the process, because you will continue to age, but it does slow it down.

NearSight: my patented invention that is always there when you need them, and very cool (reveal will be in the CBS television show in California called

@californiabydesigntv on June 13) I am happy to work with you to find the best option for you so that you don’t go “bananas” looking for reading glasses!
